Weekend Warriors

We had a really fruitful weekend. We slept in until Saturday noon, then Saturday night, hubby and I partied with his friends and co-workers for D. Kirkpatrick’s 40th in this club called Bruno’s in SF. I really liked the place.  There’s a couple of bars inside, a private room (where we partied and poured our own drinks) and a secluded dance area on the other side with a bar as well.  It was packed as hell and I drank and DANCED all night. What did you expect?

SUNDAY.  Went to church with a headache then we went to Tilly’s for my Eggs Benedict. We went to Big 5 to pick up a softball knee sliding  pad for hubby (he’s still nursing some major wounds from the Reno tournament– just because he’s so stubborn and stood by his belief with much theatrical conviction that he didn’t need any). He now refers to them as “battle scars ” *what’s with men, why are they so proud of their wounds?*–he even made me take a picture of it.  Afterwards, he bought me a beautiful sundress for $9.99 at TJ Maxx! In the afternoon, we checked like a million different Open Houses which were dotted with so many disappointments (Sale Pending, Sold or priced too high or the structure is about to collapse).  Aaaargh! We finally saw another townhome that was in our price range. I found it online but hubby never paid attention to it until the Sub-zero built-in stainless refrigerator caught his fancy.  Good thing I twisted his arm to check it out. We submitted an offer right away and we now await the verdict. I’m really used to this by now, I can even sign each page of the form with my eyes closed.

I had intended to post an entry here after we came home from The Sushi house last night. But as soon as I logged in, hubby gave me a look and asked “What are you doing, again?”, I told him that I finally registered with Payperpost.com –for more grocery money for wifey (and detours to the mall of course) and is currently awaiting approval *liar!*.  The truth is, I really did, previously. He doesn’t have anything against my writing a.k.a blogging, in fact he is so supportive of my endeavors that I cannot ask for more.  At night though, he could be one attention-seeking baby hahaha, especially when he’s done with his own laptop affairs. I guess one thing that I’m really thankful for is his eagerness to maintain our relationship.  He wants us to spend quality time together after a long hard day even if that meant having to keep up with me watching 90210 re-runs, or me having to put up with World War II documentaries on the History Channel. While hugging each other, of course.
